Fiji Island, Beqa lagoon & resort Hotel
A TASK
Providing the hotel with drinking water with a consumption of 30m3 per day
WATER SOURCE
Reservoir in the crater of an extinct volcano
PROBLEMS
The only source of water on the island is rainwater, which collects in the crater of an extinct volcano. Further down the slope it absorbs the remains of volcanic dust, and then gets into the hotel's reservoir.
SOLUTION
Dosing of reagents for sedimentation of volcanic dust in water to the bottom of the tank. Disinfection with sodium hypochlorite, mechanical filtration on sand filters, removal of organic substances from water and unpleasant tastes in water, preservation of water with silver ions using the ionizer "Akvirs" and accumulation in tanks of clean water, with a volume of 30 m3/day
